Tire Wear Dooms Daniel
Baggerly in Visit to County Line Raceway
(September 13, 2018) After
a couple of months away from the racetrack, Daniel Baggerly
and his #16 team returned to Late Model competition on Saturday
evening, September 8 at County Line Raceway in Elm City, North
Carolina. Daniel stopped the clock tenth quickest overall during
qualifying to earn the outside of the fifth row for the start
of the $1,200 to win weekly feature event. "Bagz"
had then moved up to sixth in the headliner before extreme tire
wear became an issue as the race wore on. With balding tires
hampering his effort, Daniel wound up slipping back to twelfth
at the unfurling of the checkered flag. Full results from County
Line Raceway can be viewed online at www.countylineracewaync.com.
The B&B Motorsports team is scheduled to take the upcoming
September 14-15 weekend off from racing action, as they batten
down the hatches against the possible wind and rain associated
with Hurricane Florence. Plans call for Daniel to sling dirt
again at County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina the
following Saturday, September 22. Another weekly Late Model
showdown will be held at the Tar Heel State oval and a $1,200
top prize will be up for grabs. More information can be obtained
