Baggerly Eyes Weekend
Off Following Return Trip to Clary's Motor Speedway
(October 12, 2017) For the
second straight Saturday evening, Daniel Baggerly and his #16
team were in the pit area at Clary's Motor Speedway in Brinkleyville,
North Carolina on October 7. This time, the I-95 Late Model
Challenge Series presided over a $3,000 to win shootout. Daniel
clicked off the third fastest lap overall during the qualifying
session, which locked him automatically into the inside of the
second row for the start of the A-Main.
He then ran in the third spot through much of the headliner
and was working towards securing the second position when the
car he was battling nearly spun out in front of him. "Bagz"
barely made contact with his left rear quarter panel to help
send him around, but was penalized to the tail of the field
for allegedly causing the spin. The Clarksville, Virginia native
eventually was paid for a disappointing twelfth place effort
in the special at Clary's over the weekend. Full results can
